Steps:
- Measure all ingredients into baking pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
- Insert pan into the oven chamber.
- Select Basic Cycle; press start.
- When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack.
- Let cool to room temperature before slicing.

The base recipe for this is Recipe #129975, but my Lady is diabetic, and the sugar was a bit high. I did this so I could see the sugar content for OUR version of it, and thought it was worth sharing because this bread by Marsha D is FANTASTIC!

Steps:
- Place liquids in bread machine first, then add the salt and 2 cups of bread flour. Carefully pour in potato flakes, sugar substitute, cheddar cheese and onion, then add 1 last cup of bread flour. Make a small hole in top of the flour and add yeast.
- Close and set your bread machine for basic bread and a 2-pound loaf. Press "Start.".

- In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water; let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes. Add cream, 3 tablespoons butter, salt, cayenne pepper and 2-1/2 cups flour; beat on medium for 2 minutes. Stir in potatoes and enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. , Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 8-10 minutes. (Dough will feel slightly sticky.) Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until almost doubled, about 1 hour. , Punch the dough down. Pat into a 1/2-in.-thick rectangle. Sprinkle cheese evenly over dough. Fold dough over the cheese and knead into dough. Shape into two round loaves; place in greased 9-in. round baking pans. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 45 minutes. , Cut an X on top of each loaf; brush with remaining butter. Bake at 400° for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to cool on wire racks.

POTATO BREAD-BREAD MACHINE
Yes, I know that there are already recipes for potato bread on Zaar, but couldn't find one like this one! This is a good crusty loaf with a soft centre making it perfect for sandwiches. We don't buy any bread, so I rely heavily on good bread recipes-this one we like a lot! Tip: if you are using leftover mashed potato that has had milk and or butter added, you may need to reduce the liquid a little.

Steps:
- Pour the water and oil into the bread pan. If your instructions specify that the yeast is to placed into the pan first, reverse the order in which you add the liquid and dry ingredients.
- Sprinkle over the flour, ensuring that it covers the water. Add the mashed potato and milk powder. Add the salt and sugar in separate corners of the bread pan. Make a small indent into the centre of the flour and add the yeast.
- Set the machine to basic and medium crust and start.
- To glaze the loaf, brush the top with milk either at the beginning of cooking time or halfway through.
