HOW TO GET CURSOR BACK ON LENOVO LAPTOP? [7 EASY FIXES]
From laptopfactz.com
- Restart Your Laptop. Sometimes not seeing the cursor on the screen can be just a bug or glitch which can be fixed just by restarting your laptop. The easiest way is to close everything that is open and press Alt + F4 on your keyboard.
- Disable & Enabling the Mouse Driver. Press the Windows key on the keyboard to open up the Windows bar and type ‘Device Manager‘. Once the result appears, hit ‘Enter‘.
- Reinstall the Mouse Driver. I am assuming the HID-compliant mouse driver properties box is still open on your laptop. Just press the tab once and it will select the last option ‘Uninstall Device‘.
- Update the Mouse Driver to the Latest Version. Go to HID-compliant mouse driver’s Properties the way I mentioned earlier. Use the tab to select ‘Update Driver‘ and hit ‘Enter‘.
- Update the Touchpad Driver to the Latest Version. Go to device manager and expand the menu of Mice and other pointing devices but this time select the Touchpad driver and hit ‘Enter‘(anything other than the HID-compliant mouse should be the driver if the name is not clear).

- Restart Your Laptop. Try restarting your laptop. Even if you don't think this will fix your mouse cursor, restarting your computer can fix many issues.
- Enable Your Mouse Cursor. Check your function keys for a trackpad icon. Some laptops have a function key (F1-12) that disables the trackpad.
- Re-enable Your Touchpad. Check your computer settings to make sure the touchpad is enabled. If you don't see a function key to turn on your touchpad or the button didn't work, you can check your computer's settings to see if the touchpad is enabled or disabled.
- Replug an External Mouse. Unplug any external mouses and plug them back in. If you use an external mouse, unplug it and plug it back in. Try using a different USB port, as the USB port your mouse is plugged into may have broken.
- Change Pointer Scheme. Change your mouse pointer's scheme to "None." Windows has several pointer color schemes available for users to pick from, but some users state that using no scheme and disabling the pointer shadow will bring their pointer back.
