This Pineapple Pecan Cheese Ball is an easy appetizer any time of year. The pineapple, pecans, and seasonings in the cream cheese are delicious on crackers!

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/4 cup green peppers (finely chopped)
1/4 cup green onions (finely chopped)
8 oz crushed pineapple (drained extremely well)
2 tsp seasoning salt
2 cups chopped pecans

Steps:

In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, peppers, onions, pineapple, seasoning salt, and 1 cup of pecans.
Lay out a large sheet of plastic wrap on the counter and scoop mixture onto the plastic wrap. Fold plastic wrap over the mixture and chill in the fridge for at least four hours, or overnight if possible.
When completely chilled, shape into a ball and roll in the remaining pecans. Serve with crackers.

Ingredients

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
1 can (8 ounces) unsweetened crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1-1/2 cups finely chopped walnuts
Optional: Assorted crackers and fresh vegetables

Steps:

In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, pineapple, green pepper, onion and seasoned salt until blended. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Shape into a ball (mixture will be soft); coat in walnuts. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve with crackers and vegetables.

Combine all ingredients, savings some pecans to roll cheese ball in.
Pack mixture into a bowl or mold; chill until firm.
Remove and roll in pecans to coat exterior.
Serve with crackers.
