Steps:
- 1. Place salt and Coca-Cola in a large deep pot and whisk until salt crystals dissolve. Whisk in 4 quarts cold water. Pin bay leaves to onion halves with cloves and add them to brine. Let mixture cool to room temperature. 2. Add Pilgrim's Pride turkey, placing a large heavy pot or sealed zip-top bag filled with cold water on top to keep bird submerged in Coca-Cola. Place pot in refrigerator and marinate overnight.

- Stewed Pumpkin. 8 cups peeled and diced pumpkin. ¼ cup water. 1 tablespoon butter. 2 tablespoons vinegar. 1/3 cup brown sugar. ¼ teaspoon ground ginger. ¼ teaspoon cinnamon.
- Indian Pudding. 2 cups milk. 2 cups light cream. 2 tablespoons stone ground yellow cornmeal. ½ cup brown sugar. ½ cup maple syrup. 1 tablespoon butter. 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
- Dressed Crab. Freshly steamed or boiled crabs. Cinnamon to taste. Sugar to taste. White wine vinegar to taste. Butter. Remove and discard the legs from the crabs.
- Venison Roast. Venison roast. Salt. Pepper. Bacon. Rub the roast with salt and pepper, and place in a large roasting pan, roaster, or Dutch oven. Lay slices of fatty bacon on top of the meat, and bake at 325 degrees for a few hours or until it reaches your desired doneness.
