THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO HOSTING THE PERFECT PICNIC TEA PARTY
From xokatierosario.com
- Decide on a Menu: The menu for tea-themed picnics should include light bites and tasty treats inspired by traditional afternoon teas. Finger sandwiches are a must – choose classic flavors like cucumber and cream cheese, pimento cheese, or smoked salmon with dill – and scones, cookies, and cakes.
- Create Haphazardly Placed Outdoor Seating: For a truly authentic Mad Hatter experience, arrange mismatched chairs and cushions in no particular order around the picnic area.
- Include Fun Accessories and Props: Any host worth their salt knows that decorations are essential when setting the scene for any event. So get creative with accessories such as cake stands, mismatched teacups and saucers (check out these gorgeous options inspired by Anthropologie), vintage napkins and tablecloths, and even framed artwork featuring whimsical characters from Alice in Wonderland!
- Plan Games and Entertainment: To keep guests entertained throughout your high-tea-themed shindig, develop some fun activities centered around Alice in Wonderland themes!
- Don’t Forget To Take Pictures: Finally, don’t forget to take lots of pictures at your picnic tea party – encourage guests to dress up in their most outrageous outfits if they, please!
