PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA SANDWICH
Steps:
- Spread peanut butter side to side, evenly on 1 side of each piece of bread. Slice banana in 3/4-inch slices and place on 1 piece of bread with peanut butter. Banana slices should be close together, and cover 1 side completely (usually 9 slices). Top with the other slice of bread.
- Heat butter in saute pan on medium heat. Place sandwich in pan and brown for approximately 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Add 2 ounces of butter to the pan and flip sandwich to other side and continue cooking for 2 to 5 minutes or until golden brown and peanut butter is melting. Cut into quarters and serve very hot.

This is a very simple, and very yummy sweet treat. My husband remembered having these as a child, but we could not find the recipe. I finally found it. Hope you enjoy!

Steps:
- In mixing bowl, combine 16 oz sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla (should be stiff and dough-like).
- Chill for a few minutes to help prevent sticking.
- Divide dough into 2 balls, and roll each ball out to pie crust thickness (Use parchment or wax paper and plenty of powdered sugar both over and under dough to keep it from sticking).
- Heat peanut butter until runny and easily spreadable- not too hot- and spread evenly over rolled dough.
- Roll dough into a log (you may have to sprinkle a little more powdered sugar on it as you go to help with stickiness).
- Chill 1 hour and slice into 1/4" pinwheels- keep refrigerated.

- Ligtly toast the pita pockets and cut each in half crosswise.
- Spread the inside of each pita pocket with 2 tbsp of peanut butter. Sprinkle the chopped dates over the peanut butter, dividing them equally. Drizzle with honey. Divide the banana slices among the pita pockets.
- Close the sandwiches, pressing them slightly to adhere.

PEANUT BUTTER & CHOCOLATE BANANA
Real simple dessert for the grill that has an impressive look at the end. Instead of Chocalate Whipped Cream, you could use regular, or none at all. And instead of Peanut Butter Chips, you could use a spoonful of peanut butter per banana.

Steps:
- Cut both tips off each banana. Lay bananas curved side down, and cut lengthwise through the top peel and banana, but don't go through the bottom peel.
- Divide the chocolate and peanut butter chips evenly among banans. Open the slit bananas into an open V and place the chips along the inside.
- Loosely close the bananas, and wrap each in a square of tin foil.
- Heat on medium-hot grill for 10 minutes, turning once.
- Remove from foil, place on dish bend side down. By now the inside of the banana and the peel should be soft enough that it will lay flat on a plate.
- Spray whipped cream over open side of banana. Eat straight out of the peel with a spoon.

PEANUT BUTTER, BANANA AND SULTANAS SANDWICHES OR PINWHEEL STYLE
Yummy little snack for little kids or big kids. Alternatively, you can use either two slices of the same bread (either two white bread or two wholemeal bread) it's just to make it look pretty and healthy for kids. The pinwheel style is difficult to do without making a mess so if you don't like a mess or a challenge. You can use two more slice of bread and place them on the top, this will then be a serving size for two. Please be careful with nuts, we don't give Little Miss (DD) nuts because her cousin has a severe nut allergy.

- Cut crusts off from both slices of breads and with a rolling pin flatten both breads.
- In a small bowl, mash bananas, and then add peanut butter, sultanas and cinnamon.
- Evenly spread filling over both breads. Roll bread up starting from the long side.
- With a sharp knife cut into slices to form pinwheels. Enjoy.
