After watching an episode of 5 Ingredient Fix on FoodNetwork, my son has become inspire to make ordinary food extra-ordinary 5-I-F style.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 tablespoon(s) oil or bacon fat
8 - potatoes thinly sliced, peeled or not, your choice
1 tablespoon(s) fresh rosemary, chopped fine
1 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- salt & pepper to taste
- sauted onions (optional)

Steps:

  • Slice the potatoes thin, put into frying pan with heated oil or bacon grease. Add other ingredients to taste. I have found a non stick skillet works best for fried potatoes. Also, let them cook for awhile on one side before flipping them. For crispier potatoes, put less in the pan. In a full pan they aren't going to get as crispy.
  • For vegetarian or vegan, use oil instead of bacon fat
