ORANGE-CHERRY DELIGHT

Steps:
- Add boiling water to gelatin mixes in medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1-1/4 hours or until slightly thickened. Reserve a few orange segments for garnish. Gently stir remaining oranges into gelatin.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar in separate medium bowl with whisk until blended. Stir in COOL WHIP. Spoon into 2-1/2-qt. serving bowl; cover with gelatin mixture.
- Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Garnish with reserved oranges before serving.

- STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in medium bowl at least 2 minute until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1-1/4 hours or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites). Reserve a few orange segments for garnish. Gently stir remaining orange segments into gelatin; set aside.
- BEAT cream cheese and sugar in separate medium bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Stir in whipped topping. Spoon into 2-1/2-qt. serving bowl; cover with gelatin mixture.
- REFRIGERATE 2 hours or until firm. Top with the reserved orange segments. Store in refrigerator.

ORANGE DELIGHT DESSERT

- Combine sour cream and jello in a small bowl. Mix until jello has dissolved (will take a bit). Drain the pineapple and oranges very well, there should be NO juice remaining. Mix the fruit into the jello mixture. Add the walnuts. Fold in the Cool Whip. Let cool in the fridge for an hour or more.
CHERRY DELIGHTS
This is another Christmas favorite in my house! I used to have so much fun pressing the cherries onto each cookie when I was younger. These cookies are sweet and delicious, both with and without the nuts! Cook time is if you bake about a dozen at a time.

Steps:
- Mix margarine and sugar until fluffy.
- Stir in Karo syrup and egg yolks; mix well.
- Mix in flour.
- Chill.
- Roll into 1 inch balls.
- Dip into slightly beaten egg whites and roll in chopped nuts.
- Place on greased cookie sheets.
- Press candied cherry halves into centers.
- Bake in 325 degree F oven for 20 minutes.

Steps:
- soften the butter in the microwave til it's just about to melt
- mix the cake mix, pudding mix well
- add the eggs and Tbs water, mix well
- add the butter and incorporate all ingredients until dough is soft and smooth
- make sure the dehydrated cherries are chopped at least in half. Leaving them whole is a bit much. Smaller pieces if you prefer. Add to dough
- Add pecans and stir until cherries and pecans are well incorporated through out the dough
- drop by spoonfuls onto parchment paper lined cookie sheets
- bake 11 minutes and remove immediately whether they look done or not. they will continue to cook from the heat of the cookie sheet for another 2 - 3 minutes
- Let cool on a wire rack
CHERRY DELIGHT
This is my mom's recipe. It is a family requested recipe that she usually makes for Christmas. She's even added green food coloring to the cool whip to give it the festive look.

Steps:
- Melt butter, pour into a 9 x 13 dish add graham cracker crumbs.
- Press in bottom of 9 x 13 forming a crust.
- Bake 350 degrees for 8 10 minutes.
- Let cool.
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar with a mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Pour on top of cooled cracker crust smooth out.
- Pour cans of cherries on top of the cream cheese mixture then top the cherries with cool whip.
