SKILLET BEEF AND MACARONI
I found this simple skillet recipe many years ago on a can label. I made some tweaks, and my family loved it. Because it's so easy to put together, it's a real timesaver for people with super busy schedules. -Maxine Neuhauser, Arcadia, California

Steps:
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally, 20-25 minutes. Add more water if needed.

ONE DISH MACARONI BEEF
My mom got this recipe from a microwave cooking cookbook back in the '70s. This was one of my favorites as a kid. I make it for my kids and they love it just as much as I did/do!

Steps:
- 1. Crumble ground beef in 2 quart glass casserole and stir in onion.
- 2. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap. Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
- 3. Drain and stir in remaining ingredients. Recover.
- 4. Microwave on defrost for 30-35 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Let stand covered for 5 minutes before serving.
- 5. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired, and enjoy!

Steps:
- Cook beef in large skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 5 minutes. Transfer beef to a bowl.
- Cook macaroni, bell pepper, and onion in the same skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes. Add cooked beef, tomato sauce, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, basil, oregano, ground black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, and hot pepper sauce. Pour in beef broth. Cover skillet and simmer until macaroni is tender, about 15 minutes. Remove lid and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, 5 to 10 minutes.

- 1. Place chopped onions, bell peppers, and ground beef in large skillet that has been sprayed with Pam. Cook until ground beef is well done.
- 2. Cook elbow noodles in water for 9 minutes.
- 3. Add both cans of tomato soup to the cooked and drained ground beef. Simmer until the noodles are cooked.
- 4. Drain noodles and add to mix. Stir well.

- In large skillet, add ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, & adobo. Brown meat & drain.
- Return meat to pan. Add elbow macaroni (uncooked) to pan, covering meat. Add juice to completely cover macaroni. Cover & simmer until macaroni is al dente, and juice is completely absorbed.
- Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and serve.

- In Dutch oven or large deep saucepan, saute beef over medium-high heat, breaking up with spoon, until no longer pink, about 8 minutes.
- Drain off any fat.
- Add onion, garlic, green pepper, carrots, oregano, basil, salt and pepper to pan; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and 3 cups water; bring to boil.
- Stir in macaroni; reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender but firm (al dente), about 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and parsley.
