Do not "peek" while cooking. This is also great cooked in a crockpot all day,on low.

2 pound(s) beef stew meat, cut into bite size pieces
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
4 ounce(s) mushroom pieces
1 teaspoon(s) black pepper
1 cup(s) water
1 package(s) dry onion soup mix

Steps:

Place stew meat in a greased 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Combine soup, mushrooms and pepper. Pour over meat. Add water and sprinkle dry onion soup mix over meat.Cover and bake at 325 for 3 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.

Ingredients

2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
½ cup dry red wine

Steps:

Place beef stew meat, condensed French onion soup, condensed cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms and dry red wine into a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

In the 9 X 13-inch baking dish, whisk together both soups, chicken broth, onion soup mix, Italian seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until evenly combined. Add rice and mix in.
Cover baking dish with completely with aluminum foil and make sure seal is tight. Bake in the preheated oven, 1 hour- 1 hour and 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender. (As the chicken is covered it will not brown!)
