Easy Cheesy Nachos image

These easy cheesy nachos are loaded with fresh ingredients. Serve with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole for a definite crowd-pleaser!

1 pound lean ground beef
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
⅓ cup water
⅔ cup black beans (drained and rinsed)
8 ounces tortilla chips
4 cups cheddar (shredded, and/or Monterey Jack cheese)
4 green onions (sliced and divided)
toppings as desired

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Brown ground beef in a skillet until no pink remains. Drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning, water and black beans. Simmer 5 minutes or until sauce thickens and water evaporates.
  • Meanwhile, spread tortilla chips onto a baking sheet. Top with ½ of the cheese, the beef mixture, remaining cheese, and half of the green onions.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and add remaining green onions & desired toppings. Serve hot with salsa and sour cream.

1 frasco (15 oz) de salsa ligera y cremosa para pasta estilo Alfredo CLASSICO Light Creamy Alfredo Pasta Sauce
2 tazas de pollo cocido, desmenuzado
7 tazas de totopos (tortilla chips) estilo restaurante (6 oz)
1-1/2 taza de tomates (jitomates) picados, sin semillas
1/2 taza de queso parmesano desmenuzado KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1/4 taza de aros de chiles (ajíes) amarillos (güeros) en escabeche
1/4 taza de albahaca fresca en rebanaditas finas

Steps:

  • Cocina la salsa Alfredo y el pollo a fuego medio, en una cacerola, por unos 5 min., o hasta que se haya calentado bien, revolviéndolo ocasionalmente.
  • Coloca la mitad de cada uno de los siguientes ingredientes en capas sobre una fuente o plato de servir: totopos, mezcla de pollo, jitomates y queso; repite las capas.
  • Cubre la última capa con los ingredientes restantes.

Whip up these speedy nachos for a casual get-together with friends. Crispy tortilla chips are loaded with salsa, cheese, spring onions, chilli and other toppings.

175g packet plain tortilla chips
225g jar salsa
a few sliced spring onions
a good chunk of cheese
a pinch of crushed chilli flakes
soured cream or guacamole (optional)

Steps:

  • Tip tortilla chips on to a baking tray, pour over salsa and scatter over a few sliced spring onions.
  • Grate over a good chunk of cheese (fontina is perfect, but cheddar will do). Add a pinch of crushed chilli flakes, then put under a hot grill for about 3 minutes to melt the cheese. Serve with soured cream or guacamole (optional).
