1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup whipping cream
1 9 in.baked pastry shell
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla together.
  • Whip cream and fold in carefully.
  • Pour into pastry shell, spread evenly.
  • Cover with cherry pie filling.
  • Chill thouroughly.

Sweet and delicious. Recipe calls for pre-made graham cracker crust, but I usually make my own.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
½ cup milk
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (12 ounce) can cherry pie filling, divided
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker pie crust

Steps:

  • Beat cream cheese, sour cream, and milk together in a bowl. Stir pudding mix into the cream cheese mixture. Fold about half the cherry pie filling into the cream cheese mixture; spread into the prepared pie crust and top with remaining pie filling.
  • Refrigerate until set and chilled completely, about 2 hours.

  • In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and almond extracts. Beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. In a separate medium bowl, beat whipping cream until stiff. Carefully fold cream cheese mixture into whipped cream.
