- Preheat the oven to 350 F and grease and line an 8x8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and mashed banana.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Sift the flour mixture into the bowl with the wet ingredients, then gently fold them together until just combined.
- Add the chocolate chips and fold the batter again.
- Transfer the mixture to your prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until a skewer poked into the center of the brownies comes out with no wet batter (a few moist crumbs are okay).
- Leave the brownies in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice into 12 bars and serve.

- PREHEAT oven to 350º F. Grease 9-inch-square baking pan. MICROWAVE 1 cup morsels in small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 45 seconds; STIR. If necessary, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until smooth. Cool to room temperature. COMBINE flour, whole-wheat flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Beat brown sugar and butter in medium mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat well. Beat in melted chocolate. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in bananas and remaining 3/4 cup morsels. Spread into prepared baking pan. BAKE for 40 to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Store in covered container in refrigerator.

- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl on low power in 15-second intervals, stirring after each melting, 1 to 3 minutes. Cool slightly, about 5 minutes.

- In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt; set aide.
- In a small saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. - Spray a 9 x 9 inch pan with cooking spray, set aside
- In a medium sauce pan, combine butter and chocolate chips. Over medium-low heat, melt together, stirring occasionally. When melted, set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl combine the mashed bananas, sugar, vanilla and eggs. Mix Well.
- Stir in flour and salt until just combined.
- Pour all but 1/4 cup melted chocolate into the banana mixture and stir.
