THANKSGIVING MOCKTAIL
Blood orange, thyme and ginger beer (it's non-alcoholic) make this mocktail a light, bright, refreshing way to begin or end the big Thanksgiving meal. If you've never tried it, ginger beer is a spicier, more intensely flavored alternative to ginger ale, and is also delicious on its own.

Steps:
- Add the blood orange juice, sugar and thyme to a small saucepan and place over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve the sugar, and cook for 2 minutes to let the flavors infuse. Turn off the heat and let the mixture steep and cool to room temperature.
- Discard the thyme; strain the syrup through a sieve. At this point, the syrup can be covered and refrigerated until ready to use, up to 1 week.
- Add 2 tablespoons of the blood-orange syrup to each of 2 highball glasses filled with ice. Top each glass with half of the ginger beer, then half of the cranberry juice. Stir and serve with some frozen cranberries and 1 blood orange slice.
STRAWBERRY SUNSHINE COCKTAIL

- Add strawberries and limes into a large mortar or bowl. Crush together to extract juices. Add mint and crush to incorporate the flavors. Add strawberry syrup and pour into a pitcher. Add Champagne and stir. Serve in ice filled glasses and garnish with strawberry slices.
CHOCOLATE MARTINI MOCKTAIL

Steps:
- Combine the milk, 1/4 cup chocolate syrup, corn syrup, and crushed ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour some of the chocolate syrup onto a small plate and some of the chocolate sprinkles onto another small plate. Dip the rim of each glass in the chocolate syrup and then dip the rim in the chocolate sprinkles. Fill each glass to the top with the chocolate milk mixture.
CRANBERRY-LIME MOCKTAIL
This mocktail with homemade cranberry syrup and fresh lime juice is tart, slightly sweet and completely refreshing.

Steps:
- Combine the cranberries, sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Carefully smash the cranberries with a potato masher, then simmer the mixture until slightly reduced and dark red, about 10 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes.
- Strain the mixture through a strainer into a heatsafe container, pressing on the cranberry solids to extract all the juice. Let cool for 30 minutes.
- Combine the cranberry syrup with the limeade and lime juice in a pitcher and stir well.
- Mix equal parts of the drink mix and seltzer. Serve over ice with cranberries and a lime slice.
CHOCOLATE MILK MOCKTAIL
Steps:
- Chill 2 martini glasses. Dampen the rim of each glass and invert into the cocoa powder to rim the glass.
- In a large martini shaker, add the chocolate sauce and milk and fill with ice. Shake the cocktail well for 30 seconds. Pour the cocktail into the glasses and garnish with shaved chocolate.
