Fill Your Molds. The next thing you are going to want to do is to fill your molds. Take your small pieces of broken crayons and begin placing them into your molds; being as intentional or random with your color placement as you would like.
Melt Crayons. After placing your small crayon bits into your molds, place the baking sheet and crayon-filled molds into the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes.
Cool Crayons. After about 10 minutes, or as soon as your crayons are completely melted, carefully remove them from the oven. Keep them on the stove until completely cooled.
Remove Crayons from Molds. When removing your crayons from the molds, be very careful in the thin and delicate areas. I found it the best to work from the thickest part of the letters, to the thinnest.
