Set out a bowl of veggie chips and a platter of raw vegetables to scoop up this creamy dip.

Yield Makes 1 1/4 cups

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

4 ounces cream cheese
6 ounces feta cheese
10 small (or 5 large, about 1 1/4 ounces) peppadew peppers, removed from brine
1 teaspoon brine from peppers
1/2 teaspoon hot smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
1 tablespoon water

Steps:

Combine the cream cheese, half of the feta, half of the peppers, and all of the remaining ingredients in a food processor. Blend them until smooth. Add the rest of the feta cheese and peppers and pulse until chunky. Chill.

Not only is it a party-pleasing dip, this whipped feta would make the perfect accompaniment to grilled lamb or steak, kabobs, or sandwiches. Serve with crusty bread or pita and a variety of accoutrements such as olives, fresh cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers.

1 (8 ounce) slice feta cheese, crumbled
¼ cup whole-milk Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

Steps:

Combine feta cheese, yogurt, oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, and garlic in a food processor and mix until well blended and smooth. Add mint, basil, and pepper and pulse to combine.

Add feta, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and lime juice to food processor and mix 3-4 minutes until cheeses are very smooth, scraping sides down occasionally.
Add remaining ingredients and pulse until smooth. Depending on amount of water released from roasted red peppers, you may want to mix in a tablespoon+ milk to reach desired consistency. If dip seems thin, it will thicken after refrigerated.
Add jalapeno seeds to taste to reach desired spice level (I use about half of the jalapeno seeds), mixing until incorporated.
Serve at room temperature or even better chilled as spread/dip for pita chips, crackers, bread, vegetables, etc.
