MARY ALICE'S HOAGIE DIP IN A BREAD BOWL (FOOD NETWORK)
This recipe for Hoagie dip is the best one out there. The combination of these meats and cheeses with the spices makes it hands down a winner. I served it to guests and family and it was gone. Perfect for tailgates, Football parties, gatherings or anyday on a sandwich. You will think you are on the east coast of the US in a deli. I got it out of Food Network magazine October 2009 edition. Enjoy, I know we did! ChefDLH

Add the prepared dressing to the ingredients in the large bowl. Fold until the ingredients are evenly coated. Carve out the center of the bread loaf to make a bowl, and fill the center with the dip. Tear the carved-out center into bite-size pieces and serve with the dip. Serve the hoagie roll slices with the dip as well.
HOAGIE DIP
Here is my favorite Hoagie sandwich in dip form! I was so surprised to find this recipe on the Net. I wonder why I didn't think of this? I served this at a barbecue the other day and everyone raved about it. It's not a 'pretty' dip that's for sure.. but it is very good. Serve in a bowl surrounded by slices of Italian bread. Cook time is time to chill.
