Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup butter
1 ¾ cups white sugar
2 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
