LOW FAT CRAB BURGER
Very easy and tasty alternative to the hamburger. I serve these on whole wheat buns with tartar and/or cocktail sauce.

Steps:
- Chop crab coarsely.
- Combine all ingredients and form into patties.
- Heat oil in non-stick pan and fry patties approximately 4 minutes on each side on medium to medium high heat.

LOW FAT CRAB CAKES (ADAPTED FROM COOKING LIGHT)
Party Note: Cooking light claims you can divide the crabmeat mixture into 16 small patties and use for appetizers. I'm not sure you'd get that many even doing bite sized ones but then they think this recipe serves four and I think it's only two. The smaller versions should have about 35 calories apiece if you want to try them.

Steps:
- If the first three ingredients aren't already minced, throw them in your food processor for a moment or mince them by hand.
- Combine all ingredients except the cooking spray in a medeum mixing bowl; stir well. Shape into 8 patties.
- Coat a large skillet with cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot. Add crabmeat patties, and cook 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned on both sides, turning once. Transfer to a serving platter.

Steps:
- Mix crabmeat, 1 cup breadcrumbs, green onions, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise and Old Bay seasoning in medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix in egg yolk. Form mixture into four 2 1/2-inch-diameter patties. Place remaining 1/2 cup breadcrumbs in shallow bowl. Dip patties into crumbs, coating completely. Mix remaining 2 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise with mustard in small bowl to blend.
- Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat) or preheat broiler. Brush barbecue rack with oil. Grill burgers until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side. Grill bread slices until lightly toasted, about 1 minute per side. Spread toasts with mustard dressing. Top each with a burger.
