Steps:
- To make strawberry hearts for the garnish cut a small "v" to remove the stem of the Fresh Strawberry (2). Then cut it into slices.
- Slice 1/4 inch off of each end of the Lime (1) and cut it in half, lengthwise. Set one of the halves cut side-down on the cutting board, slice it at an angle, lengthwise to make lime wedges and set aside.
- Rim the martini glass with sugar. Use a wedge of Lime Wedge along the rim of the glass to get it wet.
- Then dip the glass in a plate with Granulated Sugar (to taste).
- To a cocktail shaker with ice, add the Malibu Rum (0.75 fluid ounce), Citron Vodka (0.75 fluid ounce), Peach Schnapps (0.75 fluid ounce) and Cranberry Juice (4.5 fluid ounce). Cover and shake. Strain it into the prepared glass.
- Garnish your love martini with a couple strawberry hearts and a strawberry on the rim! Enjoy!

THE FLAME OF LOVE MARTINI

Steps:
- Coat the inside of a chilled martini glass with fino sherry and toss out the excess. Flame several orange peels into the glass. Add the vodka and strain into the seasoned glass. Garnish with an orange peel.
- Flaming: You can create a festive pyrotechnic display for your guests with the oil present in the skin of lemons and oranges. To flame the oil, hold a lit match in one hand, and the twist in the other. Hold the twist by the side not the ends, between thumb and forefinger, skin side down, about 4 inches above the drink. Don't squeeze or you'll lose all the oil before you flame. Hold the match between the drink and the twist, closer to the twist. Snap the twist sharply, propelling the oil through the lit match and onto the surface of the drink. (Be sure to hold twist far enough from the drink to avoid getting a smoky film on the glass.)

Steps:
- Chill martini glass. Add sherry and vodka to a glass shaker. Stir and set aside. Flame the peels, one by one, by squeezing the oil in a sharp "spritz" through the flame of a lit match held over the glass. Extinguish match after peels are done (takes a few matches). Strain the sherry/vodka mixture into glass. Garnish with one final flamed orange peel (flame then drop in).
LOVE MARTINI (MELTING POT)
i had this at the melting pot and it was the best martini i've ever had! (it's a sweet, fruity drink). It smells and looks amazing! *Note: A lot of people have been saying that you ought to use white cranberry juice, and that regular cranberry juice is incorrect. I can't say which tastes better, but I've had this twice at the Melting Pot in Chicago, and both times they have used regular cranberry juice. The presentation is actually much nicer with the regular juice, because the color and the strawberry really reflect the name (see pictures!). But I suppose it could be different regionally.
