EASY LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN WINGS
My family and I love chicken wings, especially during football season. I just got tired of spending so much money on wings for our party that I decided to whip up my own version of Wing Stop's® lemon pepper chicken wings. The ending result was an empty platter and pleased bellies.

Steps:
- Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Stir olive oil and lemon pepper together in a bowl.
- Fry the chicken wings in hot oil until no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear, about 8 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
- Toss hot wings with olive oil mixture to coat.

LEMON PEPPER BAKED WINGS RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: chicken wings, baking powder, salt, butter, lemon juice, pepper, salt

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 250˚F (130˚C).
- Place wings in a large bowl and pat dry.
- Add the baking powder and salt to the wings. Stir to coat.
- Spray a baking rack with nonstick cooking spray and place on top of a foiled sheet pan. Distribute wings evenly on top, making sure none of them touch and they are all face-up.
- Bake for 35 minutes, then increase the temperature to 425˚F (220˚C) and bake for an additional 45 minutes, or until wings are crisp and golden. (Do not remove the wings from the oven when increasing temperature.)
- For sauce, in a hot pan, melt butter. Add lemon juice, pepper, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Add wings and stir to coat.
- Enjoy!

LEMONADE KISSED CHICKEN WINGS
Lemonade Kissed Chicken Wings!!! A really flavorful chicken! ZESTY !!!

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Wash and pat dry the chicken. Tuck the wings, leave them as is, or cut the sections apart (your choice). Set aside until needed.
- Put Lemonade Sauce ingredients in a sauce pan. Stir together over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside until needed.
- Heat the cooking oil in a deep pan over Medium-high heat to fry the chicken / coating.
- Mix together the Flour Coating ingredients in a large bowl or a large zipper plastic food bag. Put 5 - 7 pieces of chicken in the food bag. Zipper the bag closed, shake the chicken and flour mixture together to coat the chicken completely.
- Fry about 8 pieces of chicken at a time for about 8 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oil and let drain on paper towels a couple of minutes. Start a new batch to be fried. Continue this process until all the chicken is fried. Put the drained fried chicken on a large baking sheet. Drizzled the pan of fried chicken with the Lemonade Sauce.
- Bake in 400 degree oven for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, turn the chicken over and return pan to the oven and bake 10 minutes longer.
- **** Serve on a big platter as appetizer or serve on individual plates with a vegetable and rice.
LEMON PEPPER WINGS
Yet another great variation on the ever-popular tailgating and sports-bar snack and very simple and easy to make. I have tried this with several brands of lemon pepper seasonings and found I actually liked the cheapest one the most. It was a tad twangier than the others and was more suited to my liking. I found it at my local food store in the seasoning section. I also tend to lean towards a lemon pepper seasoning that includes a white pepper and less black.

Steps:
- Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Whisk butter and lemon pepper seasoning together in a large bowl.
- Place onions in the preheated oil and cook until just beginning to brown, about 5 minutes. Remove and discard onions.
- Working in batches, cook wings in oil until crispy on the outside and cooked through, about 8 minutes. Remove wings to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Toss wings with lemon pepper mixture until completely coated. Return to paper towel-lined plate to drain excess liquid.

LEMONADE WINGS
Another DaVita recipe, for renal and diabetic renal patients. Although my late Dear Sweet Eddiebear was not wild about chicken because he got so much of it, I was able to get him to eat it if I cooked it this way for him, and he liked it served with rice(another one of those things served more often than he cared for) Boneless chicken pieces may be used in this recipe. Be sure to check for doneness in 20 minutes if using pieces. Carbohydrate content is less than 1 gram if sugar free lemonade is used.

- In ziplock baggie, add marinade ingredients. Whisk or squish around to mix well. Add chicken pieces, remove excess air from baggie, squish around again to coat all the pieces of chicken, *and place into a bowl. (*I like to place the baggie into a bowl because sometimes those baggies do leak.) Marinate for at least 6 hours or overnight, turning now and then.
- Preheat oven to 350º F. Remove chicken pieces with tongs, place into a shallow, sprayed, baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes, uncovered. (Discard marinade.)
- Preheat grill to about 375º F. While grill is preheating, nuke butter to melt in a small glass measuring pitcher. Add rest of basting/dipping sauce ingredients, and whisk to mix. Pour out about half into finger bowls (small dipping bowls).
- When grill is hot, place chicken pieces onto oiled grill grates. Baste frequently, turning pieces as needed, until lightly charred and fully done. About 20 - 30 minutes depending on the size of the wings. *Don't worry about the charring, more is BETTER!! Those were the ones we about fought over!
