BAKED TILAPIA WITH LEMON AND GARLIC



Baked Tilapia with Lemon and Garlic image

This crispy Baked Tilapia with Lemon and Garlic is a low-carb and easy dinner recipe that's ready from start to finish in about 20 minutes!

4 tilapia fillets (about 5 ounces each)
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Optional, for serving: lemon wedges

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil (for easy clean up) and spray with cooking spray.
  • Place fish on the prepared baking sheet. Pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, lemon juice, garlic powder and salt. Brush butter mixture onto the fillets.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes (or until the fish flakes easily with a fork). For a crispier exterior, place the fish under the broiler for the final 2-3 minutes of baking. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

8 tilapia fillets (2 lb.)
1 pkg. (1.25 oz.) A.1. Savory Garlic & Herb Marinade Mix
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. water

Steps:

  • Place fish in 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Whisk remaining ingredients until blended; pour over fish.
  • Refrigerate 30 min.
  • Heat oven to 350°F. Bake fish 15 to 20 min. or until it flakes easily with fork.

2 tilapia fillets
1 teaspoon Splenda sugar substitute
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon dill
1 teaspoon thyme

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients except for tilapia in a bowl. This is the marinade.
  • Add tilapia to the marinade.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • In an 8 inch skillet pan fry the the fish.
  • Present over a vegetable.

  • Pour in the wine, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, thyme, and parsley. Increase heat to high cook for 2-3 minutes or until the wine reduces in half. Taste for seasoning and add more salt or lemon if desired.
