KIM'S CROCK POT SALISBURY STEAK
This is my recipe. I just kept adding stuff until I thought it tasted good. This is one of my son's favorite meals. I serve it with mashed potatoes and a veggie. Hope you enjoy it.

Steps:
- Put into crock pot cube steaks, 3 cups water, French onion soup mix, bouillon cubes, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook on high for 4 - 6 hours or until meat is tender enough for you and not pink in the middle.
- Mix together remaining water and all purpose flour with a fork or wire whisk until it is lump free.
- Pour mixture into crock pot while stirring constantly.
- Replace lid and allow to cook on high for 30 minutes.

- Pat down your steak with the flour (you can cut it up into strips, I kept mine in whole steaks for my husband and me).
- In a slow cooker, place your diced onions, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mushrooms and garlic. Add the floured round steak.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours

SLOW COOKER SALISBURY STEAK
Easy Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak is one of our favorite comfort foods. Tender beef patties simmered in rich brown gravy with mushrooms and onions.

Steps:
- Place mushrooms & onions in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Combine beef patty ingredients and form 6 patties. Brown over medium high heat (about 3 minutes per side).
- Layer beef patties over mushrooms. Combine remaining ingredients except water and cornstarch. Pour over beef and cook on low 5 hours.
- Once cooked, remove patties and set aside.
- Turn slow cooker onto high. Combine cold water and cornstarch. Stir into the broth and let cook a few minutes until thickened. Add beef back into the sauce to coat.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

- In a large bowl, mix together beef, onion mushroom soup mix, crushed saltine crackers, egg, and milk. Using your hands, shape beef mixture into 8 patties. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Dredge the patties in flour to coat and brown on both sides. Place the browned patties into the slow cooker (overlapping is ok) In a medium bowl, prepare the brown gravy according to package instructions. Mix in both cans of mushroom soup; pour gravy mixture over the patties. Cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, or until beef is done.

- In a large bowl add the ground beef, crushed crackers, egg, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder and oregano. Mix together with clean hands, don't over mix. Form the meat into 4 patties. Set aside.
- In another large bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, gravy packets, water and thyme until smooth. Set aside.
- In a large skillet set over medium-high heat, add enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan. When the oil and pan are hot add the patties, brown on both sides. No need to cook through.
- Add half of the mushrooms and onions to the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the patties on top. Add remaining onions and mushrooms on top of the patties. Pour over gravy mixture.
