Number Of Ingredients 14

2 slabs St Louis Spare Ribs
2 Tablespoons Killer Higs Hot Rub
2 Tablespoons Swine Life MS Grind
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Captain Rodney's Boucan Glaze
8oz Coca Cola
2oz Jack Daniels TN Whisky
Pint jar of Ice
Combine ingredients and allow mixture to come to room temperature before placing in spritz bottle
8oz Brown Sugar
8oz Killer Hogs Vinegar Sauce
2oz Jack Daniels Whisky
2oz Pineapple Juice
Combine ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat until brown sugar dissolves. Continue to heat until mixture reaches a slight boil and reduce heat to simmer. Cook for 5 min and allow to cool before glazing ribs.

Steps:

  • Prepare pellet smoker or grill for indirect cooking at 250 degrees F using hickory pellets for smoke flavor.
  • Remove membrane and excess fat from each slab of ribs.
  • Season with a light to medium layer of Mississippi Grind followed by a layer of Hot Rub (substitute your favorite seasonings/Rub).
  • Place ribs on smoker and cook for 2 1/2 hrs spritzing with Jack and Coke mixture as needed. *recipe below
  • Remove ribs from smoker and place on a double layer of aluminum foil. Spread half of brown sugar on the foil followed by 1-2 Tablespoons of Boucan Glaze. Place ribs meat down in this mixture and wrap with foil.
  • Place each slab back on smoker for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
  • Carefully unwrap foil and brush each side with Jack Daniels Glaze *recipe below.
  • Continue to cook ribs for 15-20 minutes until glaze sets. Remove from smoker, rest for 5-10 minutes, and serve.

Iv had this recipe for some time now. So a request for ribs last night, thought these would be perfect. Made these in my crockpot, so easy and so good.

1 - lg bottle honey baby rays bbq sauce
1/4 cup(s) apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup(s) jack daniels
2 - packets spiced apple cider mix
1 tablespoon(s) adobo
1 teaspoon(s) pepper
1 tablespoon(s) chili powder

Steps:

  • Place ribs in crock pot set on low. Combine all ingredients in bowl.
  • Wisk and pour over ribs. Cook on low for 7 hours. Serve with favorite sides.

1 head garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 ⅓ cups dark brown sugar
1 cup pineapple juice
⅔ cup water
¼ cup teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons minced white onion
1 tablespoon bourbon whiskey
1 tablespoon crushed pineapple
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Cut about 1/2-inch from the top of the garlic head. Trim the roots so the garlic sits flat. Remove some of the outer layers of papery skin from the garlic, leaving enough so that the cloves stay together. Put garlic into a small casserole dish or baking dish, drizzle olive oil over it, and cover with a lid or aluminum foil.
  • Roast garlic in preheated oven until the cloves are soft, about 1 hour.
  • Stir brown sugar, pineapple juice, water, teriyaki sauce, and soy sauce together in a saucepan and bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and keep at simmer.
  • Squeeze sides of the garlic until the pasty roasted garlic emerges. Measure 2 teaspoons roasted garlic into the saucepan and incorporate into the sauce with a whisk. Reserve remaining roasted garlic for another use.
  • Stir lemon juice, white onion, bourbon whiskey, pineapple, and cayenne pepper into the sauce; bring to a simmer and cook until the volume of the liquid reduces by half and is thick and syrup-like, 40 to 50 minutes.

This is a recipe I came up with. I used bottled Jack Daniels barbeque sauce, I added garlic onion, vinegar, and apple jam to complete the sauce. These are sweet and tangy ribs. They are tender and delicious! I hope you all enjoy!

4-5 oz country style ribs
1 1/2 c jack daniels honey barbeque sauce
1/4 c cider vinegar
1 1/2 c water
1/2 c apple jelly
3 clove pressed garlic larger cloves
1 c chopped sweet onion
1/3 c brown sugar
salt and pepper
3 Tbsp corn starch
1/4 c cold water

Steps:

  • 1. Rinse and pat dry the ribs. Salt-and-pepper the ribs as you like.
  • 2. In a large bowl. Mix the first 9 ingredients together well.
  • 3. Place salt and peppered ribs into mixture. It's OK if they are not fully covered. After two hours remove lid and toss ribs around her sauce.
  • 4. Cook ribs on high heat setting of crockpot for 5 hours or until tender.
  • 5. Remove ribs from crockpot. And cover tightly with foil. Pour sauce from crockpot into a large pan. Skim as much fat off of the top with a large spoon as you can. Discard fat.
  • 6. Bring sauce to a boil . Boil sauce boil for about 5-10 minutes. When it boils down. It will start to thicken a little bit.
  • 7. Mix cornstarch and water together. Stir into sauce. Continue stirring until it thickens.
  • 8. At this point you can pour the sauce Over the ribs and serve. (You may also brush ribs with sauce. Place ribs on a foil lined sheet pan. Place in oven under the broiler until ribs are browned and sticky. Remove from sheet pan and serve.)

18 ounces barbecue sauce
2 ounces Jack Daniels Whiskey

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 325.
  • Mix chili, garlic, onion, salt and pepper in shallow roasting pan.
  • Rub spice mix on ribs and roast till tender, About 2 hours.
  • Mix Jack and BBQ sauce and brush over ribs.
  • Roast for 10 minute.
  • enjoy!

This is a sweet glaze with a nice zing that goes well with chicken, pork or beef. I always double or triple the recipe. Recipe adapted from Todd Wilbur's version of T.G.I. Friday's Jack Daniels Grill Glaze www.TopSecretRecipes.com.

1 head garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
2/3 cup water
1 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce

3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons minced white onions
1 tablespoon Jack Daniels Whiskey
1 tablespoon crushed pineapple
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Cut about 1/2" off of top of garlic. Cut the roots so that the garlic will sit flat. Remove the papery skin from garlic, but leave enough so that the cloves stay together. Put garlic in small casserole dish or baking pan, drizzle olive oil over it and cover with a lid or foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove garlic and let it cool until you can handle it.
  • Combine water, pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce & brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium/high heat. Stir occasionally until mixture boils, then reduce heat until mixture is just simmering.
  • Squeeze the sides of the head of garlic until the pasty roasted garlic is removed. Mash garlic with fork and then measure out 2 TBS. into the saucepan and whisk to combine. Add remaining ingredients to pan and stir.
  • Let mixture simmer for 40-50 minutes or until the glaze has reduced by about 1/2 and is thick and syrupy. Make sure it doesn't boil over.
