1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise.
3 Tbsp. lemon juice, fresh squeezed.
3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar.
1 tsp garlic minced.
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste).
3/4 tsp black pepper (or to taste).
1-pint cherry tomatoes, halved and sliced.
1 cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced.
2 green onions, cut in half lengthwise, and chopped.
1 serrano pepper, seeded and finely chopped.
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded.
1 cup cheddar.

Steps:

  • Add all the ingredients to a bowl.
  • Make sure all the ingredients are well-mixed.
  • Chill for an hour before serving.
  • Before serving, add 1 cup cheddar and mix gently with a spoon or spatula to incorporate it evenly into the dressing.
  • Use the remaining cheese to garnish individual servings of the salad, or place it on top of the salad as a whole before serving.

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, chives, parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
