  • Simply walk more. Now, I’m not talking about doing an hour of cardio every single day (that’s too much and it will make you lose muscle). All I’m saying is to make an effort to walk more in your daily life (every chance that you get).
  • Do squats. They’re one of the best ways to tone up your butt, thighs, and legs (and they can be done anywhere at any time). Watch this video to learn how to do squats correctly (it’s important that you learn the right technique for your body type)
  • Do cardio in short bursts. I’m talking about bursts of 30 seconds or less (and only when you’re at high-intensity levels). This will give you maximum fat-burning results (and minimum muscle loss) when working out your thighs and butt.
  • Drink more water. Your body needs hydration for so many different reasons, but one of the most important things is weight loss. If your body doesn’t have enough water stored inside, then it will pull it from wherever it can…including your thighs.
  • Work harder during workouts. I don’t mean to sound rude here, but if you’re following the usual routine of doing long, boring cardio sessions…then you need to switch it up.
  • Do HIIT training. If you really want to lose fat quickly and build lean muscle at the same time, then you need to try High-Intensity Interval Training.
  • Include strength moves in your workout. I’m talking about moves like squats, lunges, and even the plank (they may seem easy, but they do work). You can try doing them at home or taking a class at your local gym.
  • Don’t skip legs day! Your whole body works as one unit so it makes sense that if you want to lose fat all over your thighs, then you need to train them every time you work out.
  • Try yoga. Yoga is a great way to tone up your inner and outer thighs too. It’s actually my favorite type of exercise because it works my entire body from head to toe while improving flexibility, strength, and balance too.
  • Focus on what your body CAN DO. I remember when I used to sit around feeling sorry for myself because I had this huge belly and thighs to match. But then I decided that it wasn’t going to be what defined me anymore, so I made a point of focusing on the things that my body could do instead (and trying new activities).
