"A friend shared this recipe with me about 10 years ago, and it continues to be a hit," writes Camie Schuiteman of Marion, Indiana. "Serve it with potato chips, crackers or raw veggies for a snack, or dollop it on baked potatoes at dinnertime."

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups sour cream
1 carton (16 ounces) French onion dip
1 package (2-1/2 ounces) dried beef, chopped
Ridged potato chips

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and dip until blended. Stir in beef. Serve with chips. Refrigerate leftovers.

Very Yummy dip, the Beau Monde seasoning is what gives it that different taste. I have been making this for years and everyone loves it.

8 ounces mayonnaise
8 ounces sour cream
1 (2 1/2 ounce) jar dried beef
2 tablespoons beau monde seasoning

Steps:

  • Chop beef very fine, I use my mini chopper.
  • Combine Mayo and Sour Cream.
  • Add dried beef and Beau Monde and mix well.
  • Refrigerate over night for best flavors.
  • Serve in hollowed out bread bowl with party rye or pumpernickle bread or bagel chips.
  • Cooking time is for overnight refrigeration.

I also serve it with raw veggies as an appetizer or on crusty bread with a salad for a light meal. 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 package (2-1/2 ounces) thinly sliced dried beef, finely chopped
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
4-1/2 teaspoons finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Pepper to taste
Assorted fresh vegetables or crackers

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients until blended; transfer to a 1-qt. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with vegetables.

  • If you prefer the dip not be salty, first rinse the dried beef & dry, prior to chopping it.
  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  • Refrigerate a few hours. However, it is better if it sits over night.

1 c sour cream
1 c mayonnaise
1 jar(s) dried chipped beef
1 tsp dill weed (dried)
1 tsp celery seed
2 Tbsp onion, minced fine
1 large round bread loaf, unsliced

Steps:

  • 1. Rinse and drain chipped beef well.
  • 2. Chop beef rather fine.
  • 3. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  • 4. Cut off top of bread. Pull out most of the inside.
  • 5. Pour dip into bread bowl.
  • 6. Serve with chunks of bread. (I make the bread bowl out of 1 round loaf and use 1 regular loaf of Italian bread cut into bite size cubes for dipping)
