Hot spinach artichoke dip is a creamy appetizer dip filled with cheese, spinach, and chopped artichokes. They are all melted together and baked until it's hot and bubbly in a skillet that's ready for dipping!

Ingredients

8 ounce cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
3 garlic cloves (minced)
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
1 14 ounce can Artichokes (chopped)
6 ounce frozen spinach (thawed)

Steps:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a medium sized bowl add the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise and mix until incorporated. Add the garlic, mozzarella cheese, parmesan, artichokes and spinach.
Spread the mixture evenly into a 1 quart baking dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until it is heated throughout and bubbly. Serve warm with sliced baguette or crackers.

Ingredients

1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained
⅓ cup grated Romano cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon minced garlic
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
⅓ cup heavy cream
½ cup sour cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a blender or food processor, place artichoke hearts, Romano cheese, Parmesan cheese and garlic . Pulse until chopped, but not ground. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together spinach, heavy cream, sour cream and mozzarella cheese. Stir in artichoke mixture. Spoon into prepared baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup grated Romano cheese
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
½ teaspoon dried basil
¼ teaspoon garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste
1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
½ cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a small baking dish.
In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, Romano cheese, garlic, basil, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Gently stir in artichoke hearts and spinach.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake in the preheated oven 25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned.

I made MustangMom's Delicious Zucchini Casserole the other night for dinner and LOVED it, especially the sauce that goes on the zucchini. I was thinking how it would make a wonderful base for a hot artichoke and spinach dip. Here is the dip with my alterations. Oh, and if you haven't tried her casserole, it's a must!

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sour cream
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
7 ounces artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach, drained well
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon paprika

Steps:

Combine butter, sour cream, cream cheese and cheddar cheese and blend well.
Add the artickoke hearts, spinach and garlic. Sprinkle with the paprika.
Place mixture in an oven safe dish and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until bubbly and heated through.
Serve with baguette slices and vegetable sticks.

1/4 cup shredded Asiago cheese
1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1 can (14 ounces) water-packed artichoke hearts, drained and coarsely chopped
5 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry (about 1/2 cup)
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles, drained
1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimientos, drained
1/3 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Tortilla chips or cubed sourdough bread

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat the first 7 ingredients until combined. Stir in artichokes, spinach, chiles and pimientos. Transfer to a greased 3-cup baking dish; sprinkle with mozzarella. Place on a rimmed baking sheet., Bake until hot and bubbly, 40-45 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips or bread.
