EASY HONEY MUSTARD SALMON RECIPE (TWO WAYS)
This honey mustard salmon recipe features perfectly flaky salmon fillet covered in a quick honey mustard sauce with fresh garlic, smoked paprika, and a pinch of cayenne. Slightly sweet, smokey and all sorts of delicious! You can bake this salmon in the oven or cook it on your grill (instructions for both provided below)

- To cook in the oven, heat the oven to 375 degrees F and position a rack in the middle. To grill, heat a gas grill to medium high (about 400 degrees F).
- Pat the salmon fillet dry. Season with salt on both sides.
- Prepare the honey mustard sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey mustard sauce ingredients (whole grain mustard, honey, extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne and black pepper).
- To Bake. Place the salmon on a lightly oiled sheet pan or baking dish (if using salmon with skin on, place the salmon skin side down in the dish). Spread the honey mustard sauce evenly over the surface of the salmon. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Uncover and place under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes.
- To grill. Place the salmon (already seasoned with salt) on a large, lightly oiled piece of aluminum foil. Spread the honey mustard sauce on top of the salmon. Fold both sides of the foil over the salmon and tightly close it at the top. Place on a medium-high gas grill. Cover and let cook for about 10 to 12 minutes (grill time will vary depending on the thickness of your salmon, begin to check earlier in the process). Open the top of the foil up so the fish is exposed (lots of hot steam with be released, so be careful). Continue cooking about 3 minutes or so on the grill.
- To serve. Remove from the heat. Squeeze a bit of fresh lime juice and garnish with parsley. Enjoy!

- Whisk together the water and tablespoon of kosher salt. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the water salt mixture over them so that the fillets are submerged in the liquid. Brine for 10 minutes then remove the salmon and pat dry with paper towels.
- Preheat oven to 425° F. and line a rimmed sheet pan with foil or spray the pan with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl whisk together the ingredients for the honey mustard sauce. Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet and brush or rub them with some of the honey mustard sauce. Add the green beans to the bowl with the remaining honey mustard sauce and toss together until coated. Spread the green beans out on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 5 minutes then remove from the oven and stir the green beans around. Place the sheet pan back in the oven and bake for another 5-8 minutes or until the salmon is flaky and reads 125° F. on a thermometer and the green beans have slightly caramelized. Serve immediately.

ONE SHEET PAN HONEY MUSTARD SALMON WITH GREEN BEANS
A quick and easy weeknight dinner recipe for honey mustard salmon and green beans all baked on one sheet pan! You know what that means -- easier clean-up!

- Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat the oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with foil, spray with cooking spray, set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, dijon, honey, browns sugar, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic.
- Drizzle 2 tablespoons of the honey mustard sauce on one side of the baking sheet. Spread using the back of a spoon or a brush, on just ½ the baking sheet. Place the salmon filets on top and drizzle ⅔'s of the remaining sauce on the salmon. Use a brush (or the back of a spoon to spread). Allow the salmon to marinate for 10-15 minutes minutes or up to 30 minutes. Save the remaining honey mustard sauce for the next step. Just before baking, place the green beans in the bowl that contains the honey mustard sauce. Using a large spoon, toss the green beans so they are evenly coated with the sauce. Arrange the beans on the opposite side of the salmon.
- Allow the salmon to bake for 14-18 minutes or until cooked through. Mine took exactly 14 minutes and I let it broil for an extra 1-2 minutes. Baking time will vary depending on the thickness of the filet. If yours is super thick, you may need a little extra time than whats suggested. Serve warm with brown rice or quinoa on the side.
HONEY-MUSTARD SALMON WITH GREEN BEANS
Quick-cooking salmon fillets are flavored with honey-mustard vinaigrette and a delicious breadcrumb topping; crisp green beans complete the meal. (Reserve some of the vinaigrette to use later in the week to make Chicken and Roasted Vegetable Salad.)

- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Whisk together honey, mustard, vinegar, and oil; season with salt and pepper. On a rimmed baking sheet, toss onion with 2 tablespoons vinaigrette and bake 5 minutes.

- Defrost salmon and sprinkle with little salt. Cook green beans crisp-tender in salty water - take care not to overcook them. Drain.
- Heat sesame oil in pan and fry salmon about 6 minutes from both sides.
- Melt butter in a pot and sway the beans in it.
- Put the beans on a platter and arrange the salmon on them. Keep everything warm.

- Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. If you have a whole piece of salmon, cut it into four fillets. Place a sheet of baking parchment on a baking tray and lay the salmon diagonally across it.
- Cook the beans in boiling water for 1 min and drain. Arrange the beans in piles around the salmon and add the lemon wedges to the baking tray. Mix the soy sauce, honey, mirin and garlic, and pour half of it over the beans and salmon.
