HONEY GARLIC BAKED DRUMSTICKS

- In a medium bowl, combine all marinade ingredients, mix well and set aside.
- Place the chicken in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish with onions. Marinate and massage for 5 minutes. Cover with aluminium foil or plastic wrap. Leave overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the oven to 375F degrees. Remove aluminium foil or plastic wrap and place the baking dish in the middle of the oven for 40 - 45 minutes.
- Chicken must be nicely brown and internal temperature should be 155F degrees. Leave a bit longer if you want some crispiness on top.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chives and sesame seeds. Serve with the juice from the dish and your favorite side dish.

- Preheat oven to 425F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy clean up. Add a wire rack on top if possible.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, add oil. When hot, stir in garlic and onions: cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add honey and soy sauce. Stir together the broth and cornstarch. Pour into pan and bring to a boil. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Pat chicken so it is dry. Place onto rack and season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Place into oven and cook for 10 minutes. Flip chicken and cook for another 10 minutes. Coat chicken with some sauce and cook for another 5 minutes. Flip one more time and coat the other side of the chicken. Cook for 5-10 minutes, or until chicken reaches 160F and juices run clean.
- Serve chicken with rice and steamed veggies if desired (and do not forget to pour on any extra sauce that is remaining!)

- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil (to save you some serious cleanup later as the honey caramelizes) and grease the foil well.
- Arrange the drumsticks in the pan. Whisk together the melted butter, honey, mustard, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Evenly pour the mixture over the chicken, brushing all over to coat.
- Bake, basting with a clean pastry brush every 15 minutes, until the chicken is browned and juices run clear. In my old oven, it took a total of 75 minutes. In the new one, which I believe is more accurate, it takes 60 minutes. If the tops are getting too dark before the chicken is done, loosely cover the pan with foil and keep baking. Sometimes, just a few of them are browning too fast - if this happens, I move those to one side of the pan and cover just them with foil.
