Steps:

  • Sparkling ginger cider is a first rate fall "mocktail." Mix 1/2 pound peeled, sliced fresh ginger into 32 ounces of apple cider and chill for about an hour. Pour into glasses filled with ice and top with ginger ale and fresh mint. To spike this punch, add brandy and top with hard cider instead of ginger ale.

1/2 cup whiskey
1 bottle dry sparkling wine
Frozen cranberries, for garnish

Steps:

  • Combine the apple cider and whiskey in a small pitcher. Fill the champagne glasses 2/3 up with the cider and whiskey mix. Top each glass with sparkling wine and garnish with a few frozen cranberries.

1 cup unsweetened apple juice, chilled
1 cup orange juice, chilled
1 cup cranberry juice, chilled
1 small lemon, sliced
1 small navel orange, sliced
Assorted fresh fruit, optional

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher, combine sparking cider, juices, lemon slices and orange slices. If desired, garnish each serving with fresh fruit.
