From really old cookbook. Old way of doing sandwiches in hot dog buns. They used to freeze these and pull them out as needed. You can grind filling in a food processor.

- Grind ham, cheese, onion, and pickle.
- Add enough mayonnaise to moisten, and some pickle juice.
- Spread on buns put under broiler until cheese starts to bubble, 5 minutes.
- I have seen these wrapped in foil paper and baked. They freeze these and bake them; recipe said 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 minutes or until cheese melts.

- Preheat oven to broiler setting.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, margarine, deviled ham meat spread, salt, dill weed, and mushrooms together until smooth. Spread mixture evenly over bread slices.
- Broil on top oven rack for 3 to 5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Watch carefully to prevent burning.

Easily modified for personal tastes, but try it once as written - it is delicious - AND - it's low-fat too! Make delicious sandwiches on your choice of bread with a thin coat of mayo, sliced bread and butter pickles, and a generous layer of Deviled Ham. Men and kids love these.

- Place ham and onion into a food processor and process until very finely chopped.
- Transfer ham mixture to a bowl. Thoroughly mix in salad dressing, honey, prepared mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard powder, hot pepper sauce, paprika, salt, and white pepper.
- Refrigerate ham spread covered until ready to use.

- Combine mayonnaise and mustard; spread over rectangles, leaving a 1/2-inch border.

- Moisten edges with water. Fold dough over and punch edges to seal.
- Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes or until puffed and golden.
