Hamburger Cheese Appetizer Balls Recipes

CHEESY MEATBALLS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400°. In a large bowl, whisk egg, milk, minced onion, 2 tablespoons chili powder, salt and pepper; stir in crushed crackers. Add beef, sausage and cheese; mix lightly but thoroughly., Shape mixture into 1-in. balls. Place meatballs on greased racks in 15x10x1-in. baking pans. Bake until browned, 15-18 minutes., Meanwhile, in a 5- or 6-qt. slow cooker, combine soup, water, brown sugar and remaining chili powder. Gently stir in meatballs. Cook, covered, on low until meatballs are cooked through, 4-5 hours.

DRIED BEEF CHEESE BALL

Steps:

• In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, dried beef, and chopped onions. Mix well, then season with onion salt, monosodium glutamate, and Worcestershire sauce. Form into a ball, and refrigerate.

SPICY BEEF & CHEESE BALL

Steps:

• 1. Combine all ingredients (except crackers) and shape into a ball.
• 2. Sprinkle with additional parsley and paprika for color.
• 3. Chill until ready to serve. Serve with crackers. I personally like Wheat Thins with this one.

HAMBURGER CHEESE APPETIZER BALLS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients, mix well and form into small balls.
• Place in shallow baking pan in single layer. Bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, until evenly browned.
• Remove from oven and set aside for 5-10 minutes before serving in chafing dish. Put cocktail sauce on the side.

IMPOSSIBLY EASY BACON CHEESEBURGER BALLS (WITH MAKE-AHEAD DIRECTIONS)

Steps:

• Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease bottom and sides of 15x10x1-inch pan.
• In large bowl, stir together all ingredients except ketchup and mustard, using hands or spoon. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place in pan.
• Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
• Make-Ahead Directions: Make as directed through step 2. Cover and refrigerate up to 12 hours. Uncover, and bake as directed in step 3.

BLUE CHEESE AND BEEF MEATBALLS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil.
• Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, blue cheese, onion, pepper, and salt together in a bowl; shape into 22 meatballs and arrange onto prepared pan.
• Bake meatballs until they are very firm, hot, and grey in the center, about 30 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

MAKE-AHEAD SNOWMAN CHEESE BALL

Steps:

• Mix 3 packages cream cheese and the Cheddar cheese; divide into 3 equal parts. Combine 2 parts to equal two-thirds of mixture; mix in pesto. Mix onion, mustard and pepper sauce into remaining one-third mixture.
• Cover each cheese mixture and refrigerate about 4 hours or until firm enough to shape. Shape each cheese mixture into ball. Wrap each ball, label and freeze.
• About 12 hours before serving, remove balls from freezer. Thaw in wrappers in refrigerator.
• Arrange balls on serving plate with smaller ball on top for head of snowman. Frost snowman with whipped cream cheese before serving. Decorate as desired. Serve with crackers. Store covered in refrigerator.
