this is great to lrt the kids take to school for the teacher or a sunday school teacher. or to give as a gift. everyone seems to love trail mix

Number Of Ingredients 10

Ingredients

3 - bags of valetine m & m s. 2 2oz wiltons heart shaped sprinkles
1-2 - bags heart shaped red hots.2 boxes yogert covered raisins.
1-2 - bags white choc chips. 1-2 bags choc chips
1 1/2 - bags peanut butter chips. 1 1/2 box rasins
- white choc [ or yougertcovered] small pretzels. about 4 cups peanuts.
- buy about 3 bags bite size butter finger.
- about 6 qrt. size ball jars. roll of red ribbon. roll of pink ribbon.
- buy some red cloth enough for 3 ball jars and some pink cloth enough for 3 ball jars.
- optional 1-2 bags red and pink jelly beans
2-3 - bags of valentine toll house morsels

Steps:

in large mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix very well. break up the butter fingers candy bars into about 4 pirces each. and mix them in well also break small pretzels into and mix well
then divide into the qrt. ball jars. if u have left overs and more jars place in more jars. try and have an even amount of jars full.
place lids on and place on 1/2 the jars red cloths and pink ribbons tied in a pretty bow. then pink cloths on top others with red ribbons tied around and in a bow
these would make gret gifts for teachers. or place into plastic zip lock baggies for lunches or for the class valentine party.

COMBINE: In a very large bowl, combine the Corn Chex, miniature pretzel twists, Rice Chex, Honey Nut Cheerios, and 1 cup Valentine's M&M's. Stir to combine.
WHITE CHOCOLATE: In a medium-sized microwave safe bowl, combine 3 cups of white chocolate chips and 1 and 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and microwave for another 15 seconds. Stir for 15 seconds and then microwave another 15 seconds. Stir until melted and smooth. If needed, return to the microwave for a little longer. (Bursts of 15 seconds stirring for 10 seconds in between each burst). Pour the melted and smooth white chocolate over the snack mix.
COMBINE : Working quickly, gently stir until all ingredients are coated in white chocolate and then quickly transfer to the prepared baking sheet and spread into one even layer. Immediately add the remaining Valentine's M&Ms on top and optional sprinkles if using. OPTIONAL STEP: Melt the last 1/4 cup white chocolate chips in the microwave and then transfer to a small plastic bag. Cut the tip off the bag and pipe stripes across the white chocolate snack mix.
