Soft and Gooey Loaded Smores Bars image

These s'mores bars combine chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallows - all suspended in a brown-sugar based dough!!

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
1 large egg
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
5 full-size graham crackers, roughly chopped (about 2 cups)
1 heaping cup mini marshmallows
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Line an 8-by-8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, spray with cooking spray; set aside.
  • In a large, microwave-safe bowl melt the butter, about 1 minute on high power.
  • Wait momentarily before adding the egg so you don't scramble it. Add the egg, brown sugar, vanilla, and whisk until smooth.
  • Add the flour and stir until just combined, don't overmix.
  • Add the graham crackers and any crumbs on cutting board, marshmallows, chocolate chips and fold to incorporate.
  • Turn batter out into prepared pan, smoothing the top lightly with a spatula.
  • Bake for about 20 to 22 minutes, or until bars have firmed up in the center and edges will be set. Some marshmallows may have developed a hint of golden color.
  • Allow bars to cool in pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.

Enjoy these beautiful marshmallow bars layered with milk chocolate - perfect dessert to impress your guests.

2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 bag (11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips (2 cups)
1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
1 cup miniature marshmallows

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • In large bowl, beat sugar, butter, vanilla and egg with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon, until light and fluffy. Stir in graham cracker crumbs, flour and salt. Reserve 2 cups graham cracker mixture. Press remaining mixture in pan for crust.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust; press slightly. Drop marshmallow creme by tablespoonfuls over chocolate chips. Wet back of tableware spoon and use to lightly spread marshmallow creme. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture; press lightly.
  • Bake 17 to 22 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed and light golden brown. Cool at least 30 minutes. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.

Gooey Toasted S'mores Bars image

This recipe is really easy and so tasty. A friend of mine gave me this recipe and I added my own personal touches to the recipe. My family devours them in no time. To reheat these scrumptious bars, place individual bars in the microwave for about 15 seconds.

1 package(s) sugar cookie mix
1 cup(s) graham cracker crumbs
1 cup(s) butter or margarine
3 cup(s) milk chocolate chips
1 package(s) miniature marshmallows
1/2 jar(s) marshmallow cream

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large bowl, stir together cookie crumbs. Stir in the melted butter or margarine until a soft dough forms. Press into an ungreased 13x9 inch pan.
  • Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until set. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the crust. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes or until the chocolate starts to melt. Spread the chocolate evenly over the crust.
  • Set the oven to broil. Scoop 6 to 8 large tablespoons of marshmallow cream over the melted chocolate. DO NOT SPREAD. Sprinkle the miniature marshmallows over the top and slightly press them down.
  • Broil with top 5 to 6 inches from the heat, 20 to 30 seconds or until marshmallows are toasted. Watch closely; marshmallows will brown quickly.
  • Cool 10 minutes. Cut into 6 by 4 rows. Serve warm. Store bars in an air tight container.

  • In a food processor, pulse the graham cracker sheets until finely ground without any lumps. Combine it with the flour and salt and set aside.
  • Cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla. Add the graham cracker and flour mixture and mix until incorporated.
  • Press 2/3 of the dough into the bottom of your 8x8 inch pan. Lay the Hershey Bars evenly across the bottom. Using a small spoon dollop the marshmallow fluff evenly on top of the hersheys chocolate pieces. Crumble the remaining dough on top. I would kind of pat the dough flat with my hands and lay it on top and spread it on top. Some of the marshmallow will peek through.
