GERMAN PANCAKE (AKA DUTCH BABY) RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: large eggs, granulated sugar, salt, milk, vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, butter, butter, powdered sugar, sliced strawberry

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C).
- Combine the eggs, granulated sugar, salt, milk, vanilla, flour and melted butter in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- Preheat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes. Melt the butter in the skillet. Pour the batter into the heated skillet and then immediately, and carefully, move the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The pancake is done when it is a rich amber color and the sides have risen considerably. Carefully remove the pancake from the skillet and let cool slightly on a wire rack.
- Serve warm with powdered sugar and sliced strawberries.
- Enjoy!

- In a small bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in center; add eggs. Stir together, forming a dough. , Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead 5-6 minutes. Divide dough in half. Roll each portion into a 12x9-in. rectangle. Dust both sides of dough with flour; roll up, jelly-roll style. Cut into 1/4-in. slices. Unroll noodles on paper towels; let dry for up to 2 hours., Preheat oven to 350°. In a Dutch oven, bring water to a rapid boil. Add noodles; cook 7-9 minutes or until tender., Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and paprika until smooth; gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in cheese until melted. Stir in eggs., Drain noodles; transfer to a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. GERMAN/SWISS EGG CASSEROLE
Adapted from the "Best of Friends" cookbook, this hearty casserole takes the tradional German caraway rye bread and Swiss cheese and combines them with hard boiled eggs, that are traditionally eaten with German beer. This can be made earlier and then baked later.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cook onion in butter just until tender.
- Transfer to 12x8 baking dish.
- Divide the egg slices evenly over the onion/butter mixture.
- Sprinkle with the cheese.
- Beat remaining ingredients except the bread together in a large bowl well mixed.
- Pour this over the cheese.
- At this point you can refrigerate overnite but this is not necessary.
- To finish, add the bread slices by overlapping them on top of the casserole.
- Bake 30-35 minutes until heated through.
- If refrigerated overnite add the bread slices just before baking and bake an additional 10 minutes.
