- Add all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- In a new bowl,beat egg yolks & milk.
- Stir the liquid ingredients to the dry ones.
- Mix in melted butter.
- Now add your cheese and pizza toppings.
- Beat egg whites til fluffy add them to batter just before making.
- Preheat the waffle Iron about 2 minutes.
- Add batter, cook and serve with pizza sauce.
- Can be cut up in sticks after cooking for easy dipping -- .

- In a large bowl using a hand-held mixer or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the softened butter for about 1 minute on medium speed. Get it nice and smooth, then add the sugar and beat on medium speed until fluffy and light in color. Beat in egg and vanilla. Scrape down the sides as needed.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cornstarch together. With the mixer running on low speed, slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Once completely combined, cover the dough tightly and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and up to 1 day. Without chilling, your cookie dough may spread over the sides of the pan.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 12-inch pizza pan. Remove chilled cookie dough from the refrigerator and press onto the pizza pan in an even flat circle, as pictured above. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the edges are very lightly browned. Overbaking will lend a hard crust. Allow crust to cool completely before decorating. I put the crust in the refrigerator after 10 minutes of cooling at room temperature – this sped up the process.

- Whisk together first four ingredients in a large bowl. Combine egg yolks and buttermilk in a separate small bowl. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar at high speed in another bowl with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
- Using a fork, stir yolk mixture into flour mixture just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in butter (batter will be lumpy). Fold in egg white mixture just until incorporated (do not overmix).
- Spray waffle iron with cooking spray. Pour about ½ cup batter into the center of a preheated waffle iron Pour 1 tablespoon pizza sauce onto batter. Top with ⅓ cup cheese, mini pepperonis, black olives, and oregano, to taste. Top with ¼ cup batter. Cook the waffle for about three minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
- Keep warm in a single layer on a baking sheet in a 200ºF oven up to 30 minutes. Serve with additional sauce for dipping.
