Steps:
- 1- Fill a saucepan half full with water and bring to a boil. Add green beans and fennel slices; cook until just beginning to become tender, about 4 minutes. Pour into a colander to drain and run under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 2- Return the empty pan to the stove and set heat to medium. Pour in the olive oil and it heat for a minute. Return the green beans and fennel to the pan. Season with basil, salt, and pepper, cook and stir until coated and warm.
- 3- Transfer to a serving dish and toss with feta cheese.

- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 thinly sliced fennel bulb and cook, stirring, until browned, 15 minutes. Cook 1 1/2 pounds halved green beans in boiling salted water until tender, 5 to 6 minutes. Drain and add to the fennel. Stir in 2 tablespoons each butter and water and cook until glazed, 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

- Combine the olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt and pepper in a large bowl, and let sit for 15 to 30 minutes (or longer).
- Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil. Fill a bowl with ice water. Add the green beans to the boiling water, and boil four to five minutes, depending on how crunchy you like them. Remove with a strainer or skimmer, and transfer to the ice water. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then drain and set aside.
- Bring the water back to a boil, and add the pasta. Cook until al dente, about eight minutes. When the pasta is ready, drop the green beans back into the water to heat, then drain the pasta and beans and toss at once with the tomato mixture and the feta. Serve hot or room temperature.

- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Stir red bell pepper and garlic into hot oil; season with salt and black pepper. Cook and stir until the bell pepper is tender, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Stir green beans with the red bell pepper. Pour white wine over the green bean mixture. Place a cover on the skillet and cook until the green beans are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Stir the green bean mixture. Sprinkle feta cheese over the mixture. Replace cover and continue cooking until the feta softens, about 3 minutes.
