Number Of Ingredients 8
Steps:
- Bring water, sugar, and lemon zest to a boil in a 1-quart saucepan, stirring to dissolve sugar, then boil 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and add pomegranate and lemon juice, then chill until very cold, at least 1 hour.
- Just before serving, pour pomegranate syrup into a 2-quart glass pitcher and add champagne.
FESTIVE CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL OR PUNCH
Steps:
- Mull mint, cucumber, cranberries and simple syrup in shaker container until mulled well. Add crushed ice to shaker then poor gin and a splash of lime juice, and shake until it's frothy. Put a few cranberries into a champagne glass to garnish, then poor mix using a strainer into the glass, then top with champagne, and garnish with cucumbers, mint and cranberries.
