2 1/4 cups water
1 -3 tablespoon onion soup mix or 1 -3 tablespoon vegetable soup mix
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups frozen peas or 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables

Steps:

  • In a saucepan, combine the rice,water,soup mix and salt; bring to a boil.
  • Add the vegetables; return to a boil.
  • Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Cook until rice and vegetables are tender.

2-1/4 cups water
2 to 3 tablespoons onion or vegetable soup mix
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups frozen corn, peas or mixed vegetables

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the rice, water, soup mix and salt; bring to a boil. Add the vegetables; return to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Cook until rice and vegetables are tender.

1 1/2 c minute rice, uncooked

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oil in nonstick skillet, add onions, carrots, celery and peppers; cook 5 min. or until tender
  • 2. Add broth; bring to boil
  • 3. Stir rice and peas; cover. Simmer 5 min. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min. before serving
