This easy quick roasted asparagus is made in the oven and is delicious and full of flavour. In minutes, you have a healthy and delicious side dish for your meal.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425ºF. Grease a baking sheet with cooking spray, line it with parchment paper, and set aside.
- Break off the tough ends of the asparagus.
- Arrange the asparagus on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Drizzle with olive oil, and toss well. Use a pastry brush (basting brush) if necessary to coat each asparagus spear.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper and dried oregano.
- Roast the asparagus for 10-12 minutes or until crisp-tender. Season with Parmesan cheese and lemon wedges.

- Hold both ends of a stalk of asparagus and bend it until it snaps. Then use a knife to trim the remainder of the bunch to match. Discard the trimmed stems.
- Lightly toss the asparagus with olive oil in a large bowl and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast until tender, stirring halfway, 10 to 14 minutes depending on the size. Transfer to a plate and serve.

It was intended to be a side dish but my family ate most of it while we were waiting for the rest of the meal to finish cooking.
