Chocolate Pecan Pie takes the Classic Pecan Pie recipe up a notch with semi-sweet chocolate chips that add a rich melted indulgent chocolate filling to your holiday pie!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line your pie pan with you pie crust.
- Add the chocolate chips and pecans to your pie crust.
- In a large bowl whisk together the eggs, butter, corn syrup, sugar and vanilla extract then pour it over the pecans and chocolate and bake for 35-40 minutes or until pie is set.
- Cool pie on a wire rack until completely cooled before serving.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a microwave, melt 1/2 cup butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Stir in cookie mix, 1 egg and cinnamon. Spread into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Bake until edges are lightly browned, 12-15 minutes. Remove to a wire rack., Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt chocolate and remaining 1/4 cup butter; stir until smooth. Cool slightly. In a large bowl, beat brown sugar and remaining 3 eggs until blended. Stir in bourbon, vanilla and chocolate mixture. Stir in pecans. Pour over warm cookie crust. Bake until top is golden brown, 15-20 minutes. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack., For caramel sauce, in a small saucepan, cook and stir brown sugar and butter over medium heat until butter is melted. Gradually add cream; bring to a boil. Cook and stir until slightly thickened, 10-12 minutes. Remove from the heat. Cool completely., For chocolate whipped cream, in a large bowl, beat cream, confectioners' sugar and cocoa until stiff peaks form. Serve bars with caramel sauce and chocolate whipped cream.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt margarine with chocolate squares.
- In a large bowl, stir together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, chocolate mixture, and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edges comes out clean. Cool and serve.

CHEF JOHN'S CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE
A 5-star pecan pie recipe can't get much better, but anything will always benefit from a little added chocolate! This easy and delicious recipe is based on Elaine Helms' popular Pecan Pie V, but I've added a touch of chocolate which puts this into a whole other league of dessert awesomeness!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Place a foil-lined baking sheet on the lowest shelf.
- Place dough in a 9-inch pie pan and crimp edges if desired.
- Whisk eggs in a large bowl with a wire whisk until pale and frothy, about 2 minutes. Whisk in milk and vanilla. Mix in brown sugar, white sugar, and flour until incorporated. Pour in melted butter and whisk until fully combined. Stir in pecans.
- Spread chocolate chips evenly over the bottom of the pie crust. Gently pour filling over top and gently tap the pie pan so the filling settles.
- Bake in the center of the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake until crust is golden brown and filling is set and no longer jiggly, 30 to 35 minutes more.
- Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature before serving, about 2 hours. You can refrigerate it once it's reached room temperature and serve cold, if desired.
