TRES LECHES CUPCAKES
This cupcake version of tres leches cake actually uses four types of milk, including the cream, but "quatro leches cake" just doesn't have the same delicious ring to it. If you love dairy, you won't be disappointed with this special take on the classic. -Taste of Home Test Kitchen

- Preheat oven to 350°. Line 48 muffin cups with paper liners., In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water and eggs; beat on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium 2 minutes., Fill prepared cups halfway, allowing room in liners for milk mixture. Bake 11-13 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks; cool slightly., Place cupcakes in 15x10x1-in. pans. Poke holes in cupcakes with a skewer. In a small bowl, mix milks and salt; spoon scant 1 tablespoon mixture over each cupcake. Refrigerate, covered, overnight., In a large bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add confectioners' sugar; beat until soft peaks form. Spread over cupcakes; top with berries. Store in the refrigerator.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 13x9-in. baking pan., In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, milk, softened butter and vanilla; beat on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium 2 minutes. Transfer to prepared pan. Bake 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack 20 minutes. , In a 4-cup measuring cup, whisk topping ingredients until blended. Using a skewer, generously poke holes in top of warm cake. Pour milk mixture slowly over cake, filling holes. Cool 30 minutes longer. Refrigerate, covered, at least 4 hours or overnight., In a bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add confectioners' sugar and vanilla; beat until soft peaks form. Spread over cake.

Steps:
- 1. Bake cake according to package directions in a 13x9 pan. In medium bowl mix the three milks until well blended. While cake is still warm, poke holes in cake about 3/4 in apart using the end of a wooden spoon.
- 2. Pour milk mixture over warm cake and cool to room temperature. Top with Cool Whip and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Not a cake you want to eat warm. The longer it sits in the refrigereator the better.
- 3. Quick and easy and oh so yummy! p.s. even better when condensed milk is doubled
