My love for pickles led me to create this Dill Pickle Dip. It's so easy to whip together. But be warned, it's addicting! -April Anderson, Forest Lake, Minnesota

Ingredients

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup dill pickle juice
1 cup chopped dill pickles
1 teaspoon garlic pepper blend
Optional: Ridged potato chips or pretzels

Steps:

In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and pickle juice until smooth. Stir in pickles and pepper blend. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 4 hours. If desired, serve with chips or pretzels.

Everyone will love getting into these pickles. They owe their color and sweet-sour taste to a long marinade in a fruity drink mix.-Taste of Home Test Kitchen

Ingredients

1 jar (32 ounces) whole dill pickles, undrained
2/3 cup sugar
1 envelope unsweetened Kool-Aid mix, flavor of your choice

Steps:

Drain pickles, reserving juice. In a small bowl, combine the reserved juice, sugar and Kool-Aid, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Set aside., Slice pickles; return to jar. Pour juice mixture over pickles. Discard any remaining juice. Cover and refrigerate for 1 week before serving. Store in the refrigerator up to 2 months.

This is a recipe that you will either love or cannot even stand the thought of putting in your mouth. I love it!! Had some for lunch today with crackers. Yummmm. I made this yesterday and used Sugar free Lime and Lemon Jell-o and also used Splenda instead of the sugar. It was really good!

Ingredients

2 1/2 c boiling water
1 box 3 oz. lemon jell-o
1 box 3 oz. lime jell-o
4 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste
2 large dill pickles, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
1/2 bell papper, chopped
1 sweet onion, chopped
1/2 head lettuce, shredded fine
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

Steps:

1. Mix together boiling water, jell-o, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Let cool, but not set. (I put mine in freezer while I chop other ingredients). Chop all ingredients then mix with cooled jell-o. Stir and refrigerate until set.
