DANNY'S WEEZY CAKE

Steps:

• Mix cake according to package (eggs, oil, water) and add sour cream. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. While cake is warm poke holes all over the top with straw. Mix last 3 ingredients together and drizzle over the top of the cake.

SHARON'S TURTLE CAKE

Steps:

• Mix cake according to package with eggs, oil and water, divide in half. To half of the batter add 1 stick of butter and 1/2 of the sweetened condensed milk. Bake in sheet cake pan on 350°F for 20-25 minutes. Melt caramels, 1 stick of butter, and the rest of the milk and pour over the top of the cake. Top with the rest of the cake batter and bake for another 25-30 minutes. While hot place Hershey bars on top of cake and spread around for frosting.

MOM'S FAMOUS POUND CAKE

Steps:

• Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
• Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
• Add baking powder,vanilla and lemon flavorings; mix well.
• Add 1/3 of the flour and 1/3 of the milk; stir well.
• Repeat until all the milk and flour are added and well combined.
• Bake in prepared (greased/floured) tube pan at 350 degrees for 75 to 90 minutes, or until cake tester comes out clean when inserted in center of cake.

TUNNEL OF CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE

Steps:

• Mix all ingredients except flour and nuts, then stir in flour and nuts by hand. Bake at 350°F in a greased and floured fluted tube pan for 45 to 55 minutes. Let cool in pan for 2 hours. Invert on plate and drizzle with glaze. This cake gets better and better each day.
