Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; add to chocolate mixture; beat well. Stir in walnuts., Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until edges are firm. Remove to wire racks to cool.

• Mix margarine and sugar, and stir in syrup and eggs.
• Stir in flour mixture, melted chocolate, vanilla and nuts.
• Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
• Bake in 350 degree oven 10-12 minutes. Do not over bake.
