The BEST Homemade Crunch Bars image

No Bake homemace crunch bars using just one bowl, 5 ingredients and less than 2 minutes! This quick and easy snack or dessert is naturally gluten free, vegan, dairy free and can be made sugar free!

3 cups crispy rice cereal
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter (can substitute any nut or seed butter)
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut oil (can sub for grass fed butter)

Steps:

  • Line an 8 x 8-inch baking dish or deep baking tray of choice with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Add crispy rice cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl or stovetop, combine all your other ingredients and heat until melted. Remove from microwave/off stove and whisk until completely incorporated.
  • Pour the chocolate/peanut butter mixture over the crispy rice cereal and mix until combined. Pour into the lined baking dish and refrigerate until firm (at least an hour).
  • Remove and cut into bars.

1 c white sugar
1 c margarine, softtened
1/4 c molasses
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract
12 oz chocolate chips
1 c raisins
1 c peanuts
1/3 c peanut butter
2 c flour

Steps:

  • 1. Mix sugar, butter, molasses, egg and vanilla.
  • 2. Stir in flour and 1 cup chocolate chips.
  • 3. Press dough in ungreased rectangular pan 13x9 and bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees
  • 4. Mix remaining chocolate chips, raisins, peanuts and peanut butter in saucepan. Heat over medium-lo, stirring constantly, til chocolate chips are melted.
  • 5. Spread over crust in pan.
  • 6. Cut while warm, then refrigerate at least 2 hours.

2 c all purpose flour
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c seedless raisins
1/3 c peanut butter

Steps:

  • 1. Mix sugar,butter, molasses, egg yolk, and vanilla. then when mixed well add flour and 1 cup of chocolate chips. Press dough in ungreased 13x9 pan. Bake in 350 degree oven til golden brown 25-30 minutes.
  • 2. Mix remaining chocolate chips, raisins, peanuts, and peanut butter in a 2 quart saucepan. Heat over medium - low heat stirring constantly, til chocolate is melted. Spread over crust in pan. Rrfrigerate at least 2 hours. Cut into bars.

  • While dough is baking, mix remaining chocolate chips, raisins, peanuts and peanut butter in a 2 quart sauce pan.
  • Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate chips are melted.
  • Spread over crust in pan.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours.

This recipe is soooo easy and so yummy. Nobody ever believes that that base has Ritz crackers in it! I have also made this recipe using sliced almonds instead of the skor chips. (I saved some almonds to sprinkle over the chocolate layer.)

1 box Ritz cracker (original)
1 can condensed milk
1 package Skor chips
1 package milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350.
  • Crush crackers to small pieces but not crumbs.
  • Add Skor bits and mix.
  • Pour in Condensed milk, mix thoroughly.
  • Pat into 9 x 13 pan lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake approx 15 minutess.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips over base.
  • Return to the oven for about 2 minutes.
  • Remove from oven,.
  • Spread melted chocolate evenly over the top.
  • Cool, cut into bars.
