Learn how to cook turkey legs in your slow cooker with this easy 6-ingredient recipe.

1 Teaspoon Dried Basil
1 Teaspoon Dried Rosemary
1 Teaspoon Dried Tarragon
1 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
2 Teaspoons Olive Oil
4 Whole Turkey Legs

Steps:

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine together the basil, rosemary, tarragon and thyme, crushing the herbs with your fingers to help release their flavors.
  • Rub about 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil over each of the 4 turkey legs, then rub the spice mixture into the turkey meat all over.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or until they are fully cooked and tender.
  • Serve and enjoy!

The grocery here often has fresh turkey legs and they're very inexpensive. I make this recipe using 4 or 6, however many happen to be in the package. I then take the meat off the bone and use it in recipes that call for cooked chicken or turkey.

4 -6 turkey legs
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
1/4 cup water

Steps:

  • Place turkey legs in Crock pot. Sprinkle with onion soup mix. Add 1/4 cup water.
  • Cook on low 9-10 hours until done.
  • Juice can be thickened with flour or cornstarch for gravy.
