An appetizer recipe that includes sausage, Velveeta cheese, and Rotel tomatoes This Hanky Panky recipe is perfect for game days!

1 Bob Evans Mild Sausage Roll
1 block Velveeta Cheese
1 can Rotel

Steps:

  • Brown sausage in skillet, drain
  • Halve and Quarter the Velveeta, then dice. This helps to melt in crock pot.
  • Place Velveeta, cooked sausage and rotel in crock pot.
  • Set Crock Pot on low and let cook for about an hour.
  • Place rye bread slices on a baking sheet and bake for 5-10 minutes until crisp. Place a tablespoon of Sausage Hanky on top of the rye bread. Enjoy!
  • Serve on rye bread as a perfect appetizer for any party! (Can be left on low all day so guests can serve themselves as they please.)

It might have a naughty name, but Hanky Panky is one heavenly appetizer. Loaded with meat and cheese, the only sinful thing is that you won't want to share.

1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground hot pork sausage
1 small onion, finely diced
1 (16-ounce) package Velveeta cheese
Cayenne pepper, to taste
Red pepper flakes, to taste
1 loaf sliced rye cocktail bread

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, stir together ground beef, sausage, and onion until the meats are no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Drain off excess fat.
  • Reduce the heat to low. Season with cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes to taste.
  • Slice the cheese into cubes and add them to the mixture. Stir until melted. Remove from heat.
  • Place rye bread slices onto a baking sheet. Top each piece with a spoonful of meat mixture. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese bubbles. Serve and enjoy!

Steps:

  • Place ground beef and sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown.
  • Drain the meat and mix in Worcestershire sauce. Spread processed cheese over meat, allowing it to melt. Serve warm on slices of bread.

This is a great and simple hot appetizer for any party or tailgating event....people always enjoy it and ask for my recipe!

1 lb ground chuck
1 lb bulk hot sausage
1 lb velveeta, cubed
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp pepper
2 loaves cocktail rye bread ( i mix the dark & the light

Steps:

  • 1. Brown the meats and drain thoroughly, add onions and cook until onions start to soften, stir in cheese until melted, add Worcestershire, garlic salt and pepper...
  • 2. Spread a small amount of the meat mixture onto a slices of the party rye and spread to the edges and bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.
  • 3. NOTE VARIATION: The above directions are off of my original recipe...I put all the ingredients (except bread) into a regular size crock pot (not one of the big oval ones) and just cook on low till the cheese is melty and everything is almost bubbly. Just serve with bread right out of the crock pot. I find this to be much simpler than baking them although when the bread gets toasty on the edges from the baking process it makes them a little better I think. I have also used 2 lb. of the hot sausage and omitted the ground chuck for more zest!! Tweak to your taste.
