CREATIVE CLAY DOUGH (NON EDIBLE)
This uses simple items you'll have on hand in your home. A good way to use the "old" baking soda in your fridge!

Number Of Ingredients 3
Steps:
- Stir cornstarch and soda together, add cold water, stir over heat until "mashed potato" consistency.
- Turn out onto a plate, cover with plastic wrap until cool-enough to handle.
- Knead dough and use immediately or store in an airtight container.
- IDEAS: ornaments, modeling, pottery.
- HANDLING: roll thin, cut with cookie cutters.
- DRYING: dry at room temp for three days OR in a 200* oven until dry (check every 10 minutes).

TRADITIONAL CLAY DOUGH RECIPE
Clay dough makes great modeling material for all kinds of arts and craft projects. It can be formed into sculptures just like real clay, dried, and painted. Making your own clay dough is easy and fun!

Steps:
- Mix all of the ingredients together, adding the food coloring last.
- Stir ingredients over medium heat until smooth.
- Remove from pan and knead dough until it's blended and smooth.
- When cool, store dough in airtight container or sealed plastic bag.
CLAY DOUGH
A fun thing to make with the kids or grandkids. I've even tried it with Kool-Aid rather than food coloring. Colors as well as scents it.
